Bieber “Trapped” in Hotel as “Possible Riot” Brews

Bieber fever has hit an all-time high.

Teen pop phenom Justin Bieber, 17, is currently holed up in his hotel room in Liverpool, England — with thousands of screaming fans surrounding the building outside.

“I cant even say hi to my fans outside because of the police,” he tweeted Thursday. “Some bull.”

Ironically, the Canadian-born singer is staying at the Beatles-themed Hard Days Night Hotel; the fab four were also hounded by overzealous fans in their heyday.

According to TMZ, police have warned the “Never Say Never” singer that his swarming fans could create a “possible riot situation.” They even threatened to arrest him, though Bieber and his team have been cooperating with police orders.

This marks the second time this week that Bieber ignited fan fury. A source tells that when the pop star and his stylist and “swagger coach” Ryan Good visited Starbucks several days ago, the singer was “trapped” inside the coffee shop as fans “demanded to meet Bieber.”

“The fans are nuts over there,” the insider adds.

Bieber, who in town for his stylist’s birthday party, is no stranger to scary run-ins. In November 2009, the “Baby” singer was forced to cancel his appearance at a Long Island mall after 3,000 fans created a mob-like situation.

Five minor injuries were reported, and Island Def Jam vice president James Roppo was arrested and charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing government administration, reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance; he pleaded not guilty on all charges.

Bieber’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun, was arrested on one count of second-degree reckless endangerment and one count of second-degree criminal nuisance related to the incident; he pleaded not guilty to both charges and was subsequently released.

Ashlee’s PDA With His Pete’s Pal!

Ashlee Simpson may have found her rebound man — who just happens to be a friend of Pete Wentz, her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Photos at E! News show Simpson, 25, shopping in L.A. with rocker Craig Owens, who holds her close with his arm around her shoulders.

(Last month, the singer-actress filed for divorce from Fall Out Boy’s Wentz, 31, after nearly two years of marriage.)

According to E!, singer-songwriter Owens, 26, is the former frontman for the punk group Chiodos, and is now signed to Wentz’ s record label, Decaydance. This summer, Owens will tour with a new group Wentz helped organize, D.R.U.G.S. (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows).

Back in January 2010, Wentz even gushed to MTV News that Owens was his favorite new artist.

So what does Wentz think of his protege’s new potential romance with his future ex-wife?

“Pete did a lot for this guy,” a Wentz source tells “Craig was in another band and got kicked out. Pete found Craig, built a band around him and signed him. He’s shocked at how this guy is repaying him.”

Counters a source close to Simpson: “Ashlee and Craig are longtime friends. They have spent some time together, and he is comforting her throughout this difficult time.”

Isla Fisher’s Baby’s Name Revealed

Isla’s name game!

After Isla Fisher, 35, and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen, 39, welcomed their second daughter last August, the pair kept her name top secret. The Rango star wouldn’t even reveal the moniker when grilled on Live! with Regis and Kelly March 2.

Now sources exclusively reveal the six-month-old tot’s identity to the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now): Elula Lottie Miriam Cohen. Eula, the Hebrew name for August, joins big sister Olive, 3.

The reason for the secrecy? “Motherhood is my favorite topic but I never talk about it publicly,” Fisher has said.

She adds: “As much as I love what I am doing, and I am so fortunate to have the opportunities that I have had, my responsibility is to my family.”

George Clooney: Too Much Rock n’ Roll to Run For Office

George Clooney’s made waves as an actor and as an activist, speaking out against the atrocities in the Sudan.

But just because he’s become an outspoken advocate for the people of Africa, don’t expect him to pursue politics anytime soon.

“I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics, you know,” Clooney, 49, told Newsweek. “I f–ked too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.” And, he says, if he did run for office, he’d admit everything up front. He’d “start from the beginning by saying, ‘I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let’s talk about issues.’ That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: ‘I drank the bong water.’?”

Clooney’s work with the Enough Project, which works to end genocide, has led him to spend a lot of time in Africa, and specifically the Sudan, where a civil war has torn the country apart.

Clooney expressed admiration for the relief workers who risk their lives in the Sudan. “These guys have a day job that pays them nothing and is dangerous,” he said. “My day job pays very well, and the worst thing that happens is you get some bad food from craft service.”

Celine Dions Twin Boys Make Their Debut

Near, far, wherever they are!

On Wednesday, Celine Dion‘s baby twin boys Nelson and Eddy made their Sin City debut!

Back in Las Vegas to prep for an upcoming new Las Vegas show, the French-Canadian singer, 43, stepped out with husband Rene Angelil, older son Rene-Charles, 9, at Caesars Palace — and their newest sons, born Oct. 13. See more photos of Celine and her twins.

Held by their mom and dad, both little guys wore matching baby blue gowns and white hats as their famous mom waved to fans. Dion and Angelil, 68, conceived Nelson and Eddy (named after civil rights icon Nelson Mandela and French songwriter Eddy Marnay) after five failed IVF attempts.

Last month, Dion admitted that the months following the happy birth were exhausting. “I take things day by day,” the “My Heart Will Go On” singer told French magazine Gala. “I had moments of lifelessness…One moment, tremendous happiness; the next, fatigue sets in, and I cried for no reason, and then that took care of itself..It’s for things like that after having a baby that mothers really need emotional support.”

Kardashians Cash in on $65M in 2010!

Keep up with this: In 2010, the Kardashian family grossed a collective $65 million in 2010 related to their reality shows, endorsements, product lines, public appearance fees and more, an insider confirms to The Hollywood Reporter in a new cover story. (More than Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock and Tom Cruise combined, THR points out.)

At the center of the reality family’s staggering fame and financial success? Mom Kris Jenner.

To those taken aback, Jenner’s pal Scott Sassa tells THR: “Look at Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg…Two guys that didn’t finish college ended up billionaires. Sometimes just raw energy and intelligence wins out.”

Khloe Kardashian, 26, tells the mag: “My mother has just always been this ‘Let’s make water into wine’ person…She knows how to take one small talent or ability and grow it into something huge.”

Indeed, in 2007, Jenner, 55, was shopping around a new reality series when her daughter Kim Kardashian, now 30, became the unwitting star of a sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J.

“I thought, ‘Oh well, there goes the reality show,'” she said to THR. “But you can either be a problem maker or a problem solver. And I’m a problem solver. My job as her mom and manager is to take care of the problem — whatever it is. I had to cry and get upset in the privacy of my own room and then come out and help her, because she’s my daughter. What good is it for me to berate her?…All I knew was that I had to make some lemonade out of these lemons fast. Real fast.”

She added: “My job was trying to take my kids’ 15 minutes and turn it into 30.”

E! programming executive Lisa Berger says they almost passed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but was convinced otherwise by Ryan Seacrest. “It has changed the face of E!” she told THR.

Jenner explained the family’s approach to their various reality shows: “Not only do we not have filters running through our brains, we don’t edit ourselves…The scene where [Kourtney’s boyfriend] Scott [Disick] is shoving money down the waiter’s throat, that was hard to watch. But I said: ‘Leave it alone. Just show it. It’ll be fine.’ I’ve said that every single time. And it’s served me well from a business point of view.”

Admitted Khloe: “These shows are a 30-minute commercial.”

Among the family’s expansion plans this year: Kardashian Khaos, a “celebrity destination store” at Las Vegas’ Mirage hotel that shills every Kardashian-endorsed product available. (Kardashian images will also be stamped on hotel keys, bottled water in the rooms and on slot machines.)

One offer Kris Jenner turned down? A sex toy company that wanted to sign Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom with a line of “vibrating panties, nipple rings and vibrators.” Says Jenner: “I was like ‘Hell to the no!'”

These days, Kim reportedly charges as much as $25,000 to mention a brand in a tweet — and most family members include a “Twitter clause” in their contracts.

One talent wrangler tells THR that Kim can charge up to $100,000 to $250,000 to appear at an event — and even $1 million abroad.

Jenner isn’t shy about how long she’d like to sustain her brood’s success. “My fantasy is to have Keeping Up With Kardashians, Season 26…Who knew it would be this profitable? I should have had more kids.”

Jessica Alba: Baby #2 on the Way!

The actress announced on her Facebook page and Twitter account Wednesday that she and her husband are expecting their second child.

“I thought I’d drop by to let you all in on some exciting news — Honor is going to be a Big Sister!” Alba, 29, wrote.

“Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn’t hear about it somewhere else.”

“I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around. Have a great day!” she finishes, signing off, “Jess.”

Warren also posted to his Twitter page, “@jessicaalba are beyond excited about the news! Honor is going to be a great big sister. Thank you all for the wonderful messages!!”

Alba delivered daughter Honor Marie, 2, in June 2008, a month after marrying Warren in California.

Mario Lopez Admits Cheating

Back in April 2004, longtime loves Mario Lopez and model/actress Ali Landry tied the knot — only to annul the union two weeks later, amid rumors of Lopez’s rampant cheating.

Now, almost seven years later, Lopez fessed up to at least one major indiscretion that took place during a wild bachelor party weekend in Mexico.

Lopez, 37, spilled the beans to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show on Thursday. “It was my bachelor party,” the Extra host admitted, explaining that he had been “bouncing around” Mexico with his cousins. “I had no business of being in that position,” he said, offering that he “messed around” with another woman.

He elaborated a bit on the fling. “It was spring break….everybody was hanging out. That was a situation where I was not mature and man enough.”

Before heading out for his big weekend, Lopez didn’t tell then-fiancee Landry the whole truth. “I said I was going to Cabo…to go marlin fishing,” he explained. “Then my cousin surprised me and said ‘No, …we’re going on this whirlwind tour: Cabo, Acapulco, all these places.'”

Rather than telling Landry about the change of plans, “I figured at that point it was easier to ask for forgiveness [afterward]. It’s my bachelor party, we were going to have a good time. And we went, we had a good time.”

Lopez was caught in an incriminating poolside shot with another woman. “We’re partying, and somebody took a picture,” he explained. Landry’s sister eventually got a hold of that photo and shared it with her.

“I was wrong for obviously lying, and I shouldn’t have been in that position,” Lopez said.

Finally, Landry confronted him. “I dealt with all this drama, and then at that point just realize…I finally got the balls to say ‘Hey, listen I’m not ready for this, I’m sorry.'”

“At that point,” the star confessed, “I was not ready to settle down. I wasn’t man enough to know how to go about handling it. ”

Why did Lopez marry her in the first place, then? “I think when you go out for a few years you either take it to another level or you break up, right?” he said of Landry, whom he had been dating for six years. “There was nothing glaringly wrong on paper: I thought, ‘She’s beautiful, she’s a good girl, she comes from a great family, she’d make a great mom…I confused cold feet with not being ready.”

Older and wiser, Lopez is more settled down these days with Courtney Mazza, his girlfriend of over two years; they welcomed daughter Gia in September.

“It worked out well,” he said. “Thank god, because I got a great girl now.”

Jaime Pressly Opens Up About Her Divorce and DUI Case

It’s been a rough patch for Jaime Pressly.

The former My Name Is Earl actress, 33, was not only recently arrested on suspicion of DUI, but she’s also headed for divorce from entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.

“People [are] thinking my divorce is happening because of the [DUI] situation,” she tells Extra. “Truth is: These are all isolated incidents.”

Pressly, who admits she is “human and never claimed to be perfect,” wants to set the record straight on “ridiculously unkind and untrue” allegations so she can protect her child Desi, 3, whom she had with ex, Eric Cubiche.

“I don’t ever want my son to grow up and read all these false statements,” she says, adding that she and Singh “fell in love quickly. We got married very quickly. It didn’t work out the way we wanted to. There’s nothing more to it.”

Ashley Simpson & Pete Wentz Call it Quits!

Seven months after a PDA-filled night in New York, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz step out as a couple on April 30, 2007 to host an opening-night bash at Wentz’s new Big Apple lounge, Angels & Kings. “I think the first day that we met that we were attracted to each other,” Simpson tells PEOPLE. But the attraction ends four years later, when Simpson, 26, files for divorce from her longtime love, 31.
